As taken from the Harvard University web site, the yearly estimation (2008) is:

Subtotal - billed costs $45,620+
Estimated Personal Expenses $2,930+

Total billed and unbilled costs $48,550 - $50,950 + + + and higher

So, YOU have three children - all academically qualified and wishing to attend Harvard University ....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (unless you are 'wealthier' than most!)

ADD IT UP! And I'll ask you again: "The American Dream is for WHOM?" .... Any hard working American family, you say? .... Try an honest answer for a change, OK?

And don't try to whine about an abundance of 'scholarships' for gifted kids, really .... I'm talking about YOUR kids .... You know, 'average' kids, with some brains, looking to do something besides going to die in some third rate dump of a country that some politician says needs 'democracy' brought to it crazy-glued on the front end of a cruise missile ....

(When all they really want to do is open up a one-stop cop shop with every military, government and civilian law enforcement agency ever created all under one roof (Pentagon-sized building), a one horse fire wagon with seven water buckets, a one desk kangaroo court - a deluxe private court located on the top floor of the Private Golf and County Club - with wait staff and picture windows overlooking the 18th green, a compulsory one room kindergarten for all ages (where each peasant child and adult goes to kindergarten-level school for 12 years straight .... a privately operated, state operated drug trafficking system with a built-in money laundering operation connected to the one-stop cop shop and the country club by cleverly designed underground tunnels specially built by Halliburton, Inc. .... A privately-owned, privately run prison system, a non-denominational church run by a very well paid, bi-sexual, Nazi-type, informant with an S&M rap-sheet 12 miles long, dressed in cheap black religious garb .... A privately-owned hospital system with State owned and sanctioned insurance dispensing kiosks located conveniently in the lobby, every nursing station on every floor and three multi-colored kiosks - with flashing red lights -located in front of the emergency room doors, a McD's, a Taco Bell (the alternative experience for those discerning fast food junkies), a Wal-Mart, a Toyota dealership and a gas station .... And there you have it! .... Instant HOMETOWN, USA anywhere! ......... The rest of Hometown is just some petty extras to keep up the illusion of personal freedom of choice .... State-run newspaper, State-run radio station - with Rus Limberger and pay-per-listen top forty 'mew-sick' on every station, State-run movie theatre with State-approved propaganda movies only, State-run gambling casinos with in-house prostitutes that are State licensed and approved - with mandatory medical checks for VD every three months and a mandatory twice weekly visit with the Nazi clergy guy for a quick spiritual uplifting and quick State-approved pep talk .... under an expensive antique oak desk ....

And it really doesn't matter what brand of automobile you buy and drive anymore .... They are all built to self destruct in three years or less and are designed to be totally 'User UN-friendly' in the interim - and they can even spontaneously accelerate or brake for no reason all for your added personal driving pleasure and enjoyment - as well as all the other drivers around you .... Sorta like Windows Vista and Windows 7 & 8 .... "Don't mess with me, I'm trying to connect to "Outer Space Command" - and I'm warning you! I'll automatically shut down and you will lose all saved and unsaved data if you persist in trying to alter my pre-programmed utilities in order to suit your own personal taste, needs and requirements - Those days are gone forever, baby!") ....

In 1970, CEO salary and bonus packages were typically about $700,000 .... 25 times the average production worker salary; by 2000, CEO salaries had jumped to almost $2.2 million on average, 90 times the average salary of a worker, according to a 2004 study on CEO pay by Kevin J. If you are able to get your child a summer job at your local Wal-Mart as a floor sweeper .... That is a virtual guarantee that s/he comes from a household that cannot afford to pay for a Harvard or Yale education..... period! Care to bet that the CEO of ANY major U.S. corporation has never needed to sweep floors to make some school and spending money? .... Oh, I know they can sweep a lot of dirt under the carpet when forced to - and how they have learned early on how to deftly stuff all the nasty family secrets and skeletons into a closed, and locked, closet in a hurry .... But, really..... How are you, and your children, supposed to fairly compete for high-end jobs .... when they're end of the football field is 20 feet lower than the other end? .... I do get a little perturbed by clowns and puppets and paid-for pundits who rant on about how, 'All you po' folk need to quit whining about those who were born into wealth and privilege .... All you need to do to compete is go out there and work really hard if you ever want, or expect, to get yourself ahead in America' .... Right! .... And the Tooth Fairie loves you, too.
